PATHFINDERS

Pathfinders is part of a worldwide, co-ed scouting organization sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It’s for juniors and teens in Grades 5-12 within the Minnesota Conference, offering active involvement in club meetings, camping, and service activities to develop Christ-like citizens. Our goal is to train an army of youth to carry the message of a risen Savior to a world in need.

What is Pathfinders?

Pathfinders is a church-based youth organization for children aged 10-15, focusing on spiritual, social, and educational growth. It emphasizes outdoor experiences, community service, and life skills, all while nurturing a deeper relationship with God.

Pathfinder Curriculum

  • Friend (10 years old): Basic life skills, spiritual growth, community service.
  • Companion (11 years old): Outdoor skills and leadership development.
  • Explorer (12 years old): Advanced nature, community service, and personal growth.
  • Ranger (13 years old): Self-discipline, teamwork, and spiritual development.
  • Voyager (14 years old): Leadership roles, service, survival skills, Bible study.
  • Guide (15 years old): Mentorship and comprehensive knowledge of all previous levels.


Each level includes honors (badges) covering various topics, integrating Bible study, community outreach, and church involvement to develop well-rounded, effective leaders.
