WOMEN'S MINISTRIES IS...

  • A place to address the spiritual, emotional physical and social needs of women.
  • Provides encouragement for women to improve their potential for participation in the mission of the church.
  • A support system for hurting women. May be suffering from loneliness, divorce or abuse.
  • A forum to help address the topics and issues as they affect women.
  • It mentors young women so that they may find joy in the Lord.

Women are an influential force in the Seventh day Adventist Church. When women are ministering to the family and church, the community receives the benefits of their spiritual strength and ministry. All women are invited to become involved in different ways:

  • By promoting an active women’s ministries program in the local church, conference, union and/ division.
  • Through prayer and encouragement.
  • By volunteering their talents and leadership abilities.
  • Through financial support.

Women’s Ministries is involved in sponsoring and developing different programs and activities which include:

  • International Women’s Day of Prayer (First Sabbath in March)
  • Women’s Ministries Emphasis Day (Second Sabbath in June)
  • enditnow Emphasis Day (Fourth Sabbath in August)
