Jeff %22pj%22 Deming

The Minnesota Conference is pleased to announce that Jeff “PJ” Deming has accepted the position of Maplewood Academy principal. Deming currently serves as principal for Upper Columbia Academy in Washington. 

He graduated from Maplewood in 1987, and since then he has worked at Monterey Bay Academy, Milo Academy, and various churches. He is an ordained pastor, and has served multiple capacities including campus chaplain, assistant dean, development director, youth pastor, administrative pastor, and lead pastor. 

He holds a BA in theology and a master’s degree in administration and leadership. His interests include organizing, relationships, storytelling, refereeing, and reading. PJ and his wife Amy have three grown children and two grandchildren. 

The Demings plan to move to Minnesota this summer, after standard employment processes are finalized. PJ replaces Jeremy Everhart who served for the past six years as Maplewood’s principal, and recently accepted a call to Palisades Adventist Christian School.
