Message from Bob Hilde, ACS/DR Coordinator of MN Conference Wow what a busy few weeks! Here is the #'s so far. 1151 families served 517 Volunteer hours 1325 Clean-up Kits 1774 Cases of Garbage Bags 450 Cases of Bleach 685 Cases of Tilex 400 Food Kits 1000 Cases of bottled water 700 Cases of Flav. water 500 Cases of Snacks 500 Pairs of leather gloves 25 Wheel Barrows 500 Shovels 600 Pairs of Goggles 200 Pair of Rubber gloves 250 Respirators and alot more... Praise the Lord for all the volunteers. I especially want to thank Joyce Myer who was at the warehouse everyday since we opened, and also Les Morrison for driving the truck and all his hard work, and Vicki Turner and Peter Felde who helped out so much. I also want to thank D&M Industries for volunteering the use of their warehouse. Not only did they let us stay there rent free but paid utilities and let us use their employees, forklifts, and drove a truckload of goods to Valley City ND for us at no charge. Jerry Bradey Manager and Tom Boyle President were more than generous. I think we met our objective which is: "Search heaven and earth, and there is no truth revealed more powerful than which is made manifest in works of mercy to those who need our sympathy and aid. This is the truth as it is in Jesus." Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, Pg. 13 Also a special thanks to: Feed the Children, Safety Supply America, Great Plains Food Bank, Pactiv, R3 Safety, Church of Jesus Christ Later Day Saints, FEMA, Homeland Security and Grainger for all the donations!
